The simplex fiber optic cable uses a single Φ900μm or Φ600μm tight-buffered optical fiber as the optical transmission medium, covered with a layer of aramid as a reinforcement, and extruded with a layer of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or low-smoke zero-halogen material (LSZH, low-smoke, halogen-free, flame-retardant) sheath.
Tight buffer fibre have excellent flame-retardant performance
Aramid yarn as strength member make simplex fiber optic cable have excellent tensile strength
The outer jacket material has many advantages such as anti-corrosion, anti-water, anti-ultraviolet radiation, flame-retardant and harmless to environment etc.
Applications
Making patch cords or pigtails
Indoor distribution
Interconnect between instruments, communication equipments
Standards
Meet the standards of YD/T 1258.2, ICEA-596, GR-409, IEC 60794-2-10/11, etc. In addition to ordinary PVC products, there are also products that have passed ULOFNR and OFNP certifications. LSZH products use different materials to meet IEC60332-1 or IEC60332-3C or OFNR certifications.
